Well, to those who have read my frequent blogging, you know my obsession with the manga titled "Emma" by Kaoru Mori. So it should come as no suprise that I have decided to create a thread devoted completely to the discussion to it.
For those who have not read it and have not seen my zillion references to it: Emma is a story of a maid living in Victorian England who falls in love with a member of the gentry. The two face numerous hardships while trying to keep their love strong.
For those who have read the series (or some of it): Who is your favorite character other than Emma and William? What made you decide to start reading "Emma"? Do you prefer the realistic style that Mori draws in to the style of "traditional mangas"?
My answers to my questions: My favorite character other than Emma and William would have to be Kelly Stowner because she is so sweet and caring. I saw a copy in the school library and I had nothing else to do, so I began reading. I fell in love with the series during the first chapter. I actually prefer her realistic style because she still incorporates some "traditional" manga elements.
DECEMBER 8- EMMA VOL. 10 COMES OUT TODAY! LAST VOL.!
January 7- EMMA is now complete-find out how it ends in the spoils section!
