ok, so here you can post your suggestions for next year's meetings
I think we should possibly switch between different types of "days"
for example, one week watch an anime we vote on, the next week discuss random anime/manga, and then the next maybe play a game or do an activity of some sort

in stead of saying LETS DO STUFFF
lets actualy DO STUFF
ok heres what i think we sould do
we sould have a segment called Anime of the week
were someone brings in something on a really LESSER KNOWN Anime/manga
so nothing like naruto or bleach
this way we can learn about newer and sometimes over looked but still really good stuff

Didn't I already put you in charge of that, Max?
Suggestions for next year: -Going to Mitsuwa or the Korean-market-place-thing I heard about from my cousins (>.>) -JAPANESE LESSONS... Or possibly Korean... -Subliminally plotting how to get Japanese as a course at Prospect, executing said plot -Playing Japanese games, learning how to play Japanese games -Order ACen tickets as a group, really early, so we all get discounts, pre-order rates, and get our badges mailed to us. (I'm willing to coordinate this.)

I just made a thread about this before realizing that ^Kelly^ posted it, but i am willing to buy a Shougi set and learn to play it if someone will learn it with me and help me teach it to the class (unless someone already has one and knows how to play)

I'd totally be willing to learn how to play Shougi! I'm fairly sure there'd be places online with the rules and everything... The Mt. Prospect Library might have books on it, too... They had books on Go, which surprised me...
Speaking of which, does anyone else know how to play Go? Or Hanafuda? I'm going to work on getting a set of Hanafuda cards this summer... (I probably would've already, but, between ACen and Mitsuwa, I'm kind of broke... >.> )

Yes! the game would be good..
And for switching off... I think that PART (let's say half) of the meeting should be standard---we do it every week--- (so i was think ing this would consist of Japanese Lessons, planning for important things, and disscussions (switching off between anime, manga, etc. or it could be one BIG discussion) and then the next half should be for activities that are switched off (like watching anime, reading manga, drawing maybe?, and playing japanese games) yes?? you like? no?
