So, this thread is about Howl's Moving Castle as an anime and work of art. It's pretty much to discuss what makes it so great (not just favorite characters). This includes character development, scenes, artistic ability, voice acting, plot, and anything else like that that you can think of. Or to critique it too, if you have something to say on that. So, my input for starters: I absolutely LOVE the plot-line. It's completely unique and it's a beautiful tale SO FAR (keep inn mind, I haven't even finished watching it yet, and I'm already in love!!!). I absolutely love how specific each character's personality is, I love the scenery and art in general (not my style but I still love it), I think the animation is so smooth and the effects are just perfect (like the part with the fairies--TO DIE FOR); They set up a great mood: soft, subtle, meaningful, yet a hint of great adventure, and I adore the music. I think my favorite part of the whole movie is just how everything combines to set this perfect plot line and this perfect mood that takes you away to some place completely new. Miyazaki is MASTER at that. Oh, and excuse me for any mispellings...
